About the team

We are looking for a Manager of Performance Marketing to join our world-class growth marketing team and champion marketing excellence with a focus on paid media. You will oversee Careem's acquisition strategies, ensuring quality and developing best practices. Digital strategies include performance marketing and branding across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display Programmatic, and Video.

Careem is data and performance-driven, and we seek someone who can demonstrate innovation in performance marketing and data analytics. Candidates should have a background in performance marketing with a strong connection to data.

What you'll do
  • Oversee Careem's digital performance marketing efforts.
  • Ensure business requirements and project briefs are well understood, accurately converted, and effectively communicated to the team.
  • Address business issues efficiently.
  • Oversee implementation across all channels.
  • Manage Performance Marketing and Branding across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display Programmatic, and Video.
  • Demonstrate innovation in performance marketing and data analytics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal digital strategists and media partners.
  • Set annual media strategies, lead account development plans, and maximize platform growth and performance.
What you'll need
  • Extensive PPC and data-driven digital strategy experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Marketing Platform (SA 360, DV 360, GA 360, Campaign Manager).
  • Understanding of attribution models and experience with MMPs like Adjust.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio.
  • Experience optimizing app campaigns.
  • Experience with task automation.
  • Ability to develop strategies, proposals, and pitch ideas effectively.
