Requisition for Accounting Reconciliation Specialist / Reconciliation Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Reconciliation Specialist to manage and perform regular reconciliation of financial accounts. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supports compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.

Perform daily,weeklyandmonthlyreconciliations on accounts withover and under payments.

Investigate and resolve discrepanciesin a timely manner, including posting corrections or adjustments as needed.

Coordinate with internal departments to gather supporting documentation and clarify outstanding issues.

Maintainaccurateand organized records of reconciliations for audit and compliance purposes.

Assistwith month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all reconciliations are completed andaccurate.

Prepare reconciliation reports and summaries for management review.

Support external audits by providing requested account reconciliations and supporting documentation.

Identifyopportunities to improve reconciliation processes and implement best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on reconciliations.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation techniques.

Proficiencywith accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communicationand organizational skills.
