Senior Manager - Domestic Order Cross Border Order

Senior Manager Domestic Order Cross Border Order will be required to contribute towards compliance for Production Order / DOCBO cases and cost control related to business as usual and ensure error free and timely processing of DOCBO / Production Orders for clients, carry out other relevant activities with the maximum efficiency, accuracy, security & control for both internal & external stakeholders and authorities in accordance with AML/CFT (Anti Money Laundering / Combating Financing of Terrorism) guidelines.

Business:
  1. Ensure response submission to the Authorities i.e.: LEA (Law Enforcement Agencies) and Regulators as per their requirement.
  2. Liaise with stakeholders to make the process streamline & escalate potential gaps with them.
  3. Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products across all segments.
  4. Ensure improvement plans are being initiated and implemented. A3 target is met.
  5. Liaise with LEA when necessary to ensure compliance of the DOCBO Cases.
  6. Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when delegated by Line Manager and Country Head, Servicing & Transacting, Pakistan.
Processes:
  1. Carefully examine and process DOCBO (Domestic Order Cross Border Order) cases & queries received from various Authorities in relation to provision of Information / Record against SCBPL (Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited) account holders.
  2. Ensure that every Production order received within cut-off is processed; otherwise, there must be a proper reason against each pending Production order.
  3. Follow-up on the pending Production orders and make sure that the targeted TAT (Turnaround Time) is not breached.
  4. Act and respond to all queries / instructions received from relevant stakeholders and authorities.
  5. Ensure all operational processes are robust and deliver at excellent levels of costs and quality.
  6. Manage the maintenance of operational integrity across business within areas of responsibility.
  7. Manage potential conflict of interests and priorities of different business operations to ensure optimal business outcomes.
  8. Ensure all Key Risk Indicators and Operational Risks are addressed, appropriately dealt with, and resolved.
  9. Proactively identify and analyse inherent risks within the department and recommend ways of minimizing risk.
  10. Review procedures and systems to suggest improvements and enhancements to current practices.
Risk Management:
  1. Effectively manage risks and create a robust control environment.
  2. Coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Operational Risk and its implementation and management of Governance & Control within the Unit.
Governance:
  1. Ensure that all processes / practices in the Unit comply with Bank's Risk and Compliance procedures to minimize security and risk exposure.
  2. Formulate improvements in operating procedures to effectively manage risks and create a robust control environment.
  3. Ensure adherence to all CST (Control Sample Testing) and HCL (Health Checklist).
  4. Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Operational Risk and its implementation and management of or within the Unit.
