Search Engine Marketing and Paid Search Team Lead

  • Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide SEM analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Implement link-building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEM goals
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments
  • Collaborate with other team members to manage SEM strategy
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Ensure successful planning, execution, and optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic, and owned channels
  • Identify and test new channels to meet or exceed established critical metrics
  • Work closely with management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback, and present results
  • Identify opportunities to drive customer value based on actual behaviors through different channels and prioritize them
  • Boost conversion rates between funnel segments by introducing creative ideas to enhance KPIs
  • Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and objectives, leading to successful deliverables
  • Analyze and report on critical performance metrics

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role, preferably in a startup environment
  • Prior experience in a similar role with expertise in building effective multi-channel PPC, SEO, and SEM campaigns
  • Solid channel analysis and reporting skills, including experience with Google Analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills, leveraging data, metrics, analytics, and consumer behavior trends for actionable insights
  • Professional experience in A/B testing and data analytics
  • Basic understanding of business financials, ROI, and profitability concepts
  • A portfolio demonstrating successful growth interventions
  • Quick learner with strong data collection, organization, analysis, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
