Assistant Manager - IND
Job Location: Islamabad
Reporting to: Operations Manager

Role Statement
Responsible for planning and organizing inspection related activities, helping commercial to prepare quotations, keeping track on market trends, and handling customer complaints. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Review and approve Technical and Commercial Proposals.
  2. Plan & organize the inspections.
  3. Co-ordinate with clients & inspectors for inspection.
  4. Maintain the file records for completed jobs & contractors and verify invoices.
  5. Review inspection reports.
  6. Attend management meetings.
  7. Any other job responsibilities as assigned by the N+1.

KPIs (to be amended if necessary)

  1. Perform & deliver as per commitment and client expectations.
  2. Error free data collection / Reporting.
  3. Customer satisfaction feedback.
  4. Unbiased decisions.
  5. No breach of BV QHSSE Policies.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
The following competencies are required:

  1. Engineering degree and/or management related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in a similar field.
  3. Excellent technical, organizational, and time management skills.
  4. Good leadership abilities and skills.
  5. Strong reporting skills.
  6. Good communication and presentation skills.
  7. Familiar with industry inspection codes, standards & practices.
  8. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, sub-contractors & colleagues.
  9. Management of work under pressure with tight schedules and willingness for teamwork.
  10. API qualifications (510, 570, 653) will be an added advantage.
