The role:

We're seeking motivated, highly responsive IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring reliable IT services and infrastructure support across the organization.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of network topologies, hardware, software, and cloud systems.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with business needs and industry standards.
• Ensure the security of IT systems, networks, and data through proactive monitoring and response strategies.
• Manage and maintain the organization's data center, ensuring high availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
• Implement and monitor environmental controls, access controls, and physical security for data center facilities.
• Ensure compliance with data retention, privacy, and regulatory standards within the data center infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend relevant upgrades or innovations.
• Provide technical guidance and support for IT operations, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.

This role will primarily be based at a client site near Islamabad, offering the selected candidate an excellent opportunity to work in a live enterprise environment, interact directly with key stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in managing Mission Critical IT operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise IT operations and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of:
• Networking concepts and topologies
• Network security and cyber security practices
• IT policies and governance frameworks
• Data center infrastructure and operations
• System administration and enterprise software
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
