We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our client from the insurance industry and contribute to a software development project. As a Business Analyst, you will connect business stakeholders with the development team, ensuring that software solutions meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs and processes.
  2. Business Process Analysis: Evaluate current processes, identify improvements, and propose solutions to optimize workflows.
  3. Functional Specifications: Create functional specifications, user stories, and use cases. Define acceptance criteria aligned with business needs.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
  5. System Design and Validation: Translate requirements into technical specifications and validate system design.
  6. Test Planning and Execution: Assist in test planning, create test scenarios, and participate in testing activities to ensure requirements are met.
  7. Change Management: Assess impacts of changes, develop plans, and support implementation for smooth transitions.
Documentation and Training

Prepare user manuals, training materials, and system documentation. Conduct training sessions and provide user support.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience in software development projects, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and documentation.
  • Experience creating specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with insurance systems is a plus.
  • Certifications like CBAP are desirable.
