Assistant Sales Manager at Al Odwah Traders (PVT) LTD

We are seeking a proactive and articulate Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the Solar EPC industry. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for contacting potential clients, educating them about our solar solutions, answering their questions, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a strong understanding of solar energy solutions.

Job Description:

  • Handle and follow up leads generated from all channels of marketing, especially website enquiries & social media marketing leads.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Engage in cold calling to potential customers to introduce our solar solutions.
  • Collaborate & coordinate with marketing team to generate quality leads & improve marketing strategy.
  • Make visits, arrange meetings, and generate leads.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure that proposals meet client expectations and project requirements.
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs to tailor sales approaches.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide detailed information about our products.
  • Coordinate with Sales team for follow-up of enquiries, proposals to deal closer, invoicing and payment recovery.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the solar industry and our product offerings.
  • Update customer information in the CRM system accurately.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Handle customer objections and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Follow and execute the sales plan diligently.

Qualification:

  • Candidate of 8-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in Solar EPC company.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Sales Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and telephony systems.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of solar energy solutions and the renewable energy market.
  • Excellent phone manner and articulation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately update CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
