Job Title: HVAC Manager

Job Summary:

The HVAC Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple fast food restaurant locations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication to maintain optimal indoor environments for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Maintenance and Repair:

- Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC and refrigeration systems in compliance with safety standards.

- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets regulatory requirements.

2. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all HVAC systems comply with local health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

3. Project Management:

- Plan and execute HVAC system upgrades, replacements, and installations across multiple locations.

- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Supervise and train HVAC technicians, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

5. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage budgets for HVAC maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining system efficiency and reliability.

6. Operational Efficiency:

- Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency.

- Ensure HVAC systems support the comfort and safety of customers and employees.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of HVAC management experience in the fast food or retail industry.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and energy management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Valid certifications (e.g., HVAC Excellence, NATE) are preferred.

Education:

Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering

Physical Demands:

- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

- Frequent travel between locations may be required.
