Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Utilities Specialist to oversee the installation, commissioning, and daily operation of utility systems in our production facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, gensets, transformers, and MCCs, as well as hands-on experience with boilers, compressors, chillers, HVAC, and cooling towers.

The Utilities Specialist will be responsible for reading utility layouts, P&IDs, and technical manuals, and handling vendors and contracts for utility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of utility systems, including LT/HT power distribution, transformers, boilers, diesel generators, HVAC systems, and cooling towers.
  • Oversee daily operation and maintenance of utility equipment, including high/low pressure air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and steam generation systems.
  • Ensure effective energy and utility management through monitoring, optimization, and preventive maintenance planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of operating logs, inspections, and maintenance schedules in line with OEM and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for troubleshooting, warranty claims, and regular spare parts requirements.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or DAE (Electrical/Mechanical/Refrigeration) or B.Tech (Engineering Technology)

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in utilities management in beverage, FMCG, or process industry

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, gensets, transformers, and MCCs.
  • Hands-on experience with boilers, compressors, chillers, HVAC, and cooling towers.
  • Ability to read utility layouts, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
  • Capable of handling vendors and contracts for utility equipment.
  • Strong leadership, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
