Job Description:

A vital member of our team, the Proposal Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing winning proposals for MEP projects. This entails crafting detailed documents that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project requirements and client specifications to create tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate with the technical, sales, and project teams to deliver high-quality bids and maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates, incorporating materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope and ensure compliance.
  • Present proposals and provide technical support during client discussions and negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in proposal engineering, cost estimation, or project management within the MEP industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical installations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and local building codes.
