Our Client is a leading Telecom Company having more than 300 stores across various states of USA.
About the Role:
Human Resources Generalist . This role is responsible for someone having solid hands on experience in HRIS, knows US laws for HR et, HR systems administration, onboarding initiatives, and supporting employee retention efforts. The ideal candidate is results-driven, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about creating a seamless candidate and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting: Lead full cycle recruiting efforts from sourcing to offer letters for all roles, including frontline retail, management, and corporate support roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and develop role-specific recruiting strategies.
- Post, update, and manage job listings across multiple platforms with consistent follow-up.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence hiring decisions.
- Source qualified candidates through active outreach, employee referrals, and online tools.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and gather hiring manager feedback.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
- Adheres strictly to timelines, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
Data & Reporting: Utilize data to track recruitment KPIs and measure hiring efficiency and quality.
- Maintain and update dashboards tracking time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, source of hire, and turnover.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruiting performance reports with strong attention to detail.
- Analyze trends and present insights to leadership in timely submissions.
- Develop reports to evaluate recruiting campaigns and vendor effectiveness.
- Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights; Recommend improvements based on data trends.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts, etc.).
HRIS Administration: Manage human resources information systems (HRIS).
- Oversee the candidate lifecycle from application to hire.
- Ensure HRIS data is accurate and synced between systems.
- Strong understanding of recruiting and HR workflows in technology systems.
- Train hiring managers on using dashboards.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy and record keeping standards.
Onboarding Programs: Lead and continuously improve onboarding processes for new hires.
- Create and maintain onboarding checklists and schedules.
- Delivers consistent, high-quality onboarding experience.
- Ensures all new hire paperwork and compliance steps are completed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure tools, access, and training are ready.
- Collaborates with training team to align onboarding with role-specific learning.
- Monitor onboarding progress and provide touch points during the first 90 days.
- Gather feedback from new hires and recommend program enhancements.
- Employee Retention Support: Work alongside HR and leadership to support programs aimed at reducing turnover and enhancing engagement.
- Monitor early turnover data and flag trends to HR leadership to proactively identify retention risks.
- Participate in initial interviews and exit interviews as needed.
- Assist with employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
- Support career pathing and internal mobility efforts.
- Provide recruiting insights to help with market-specific retention strategies.
Required Skills & Traits:
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in recruitment, specifically within Telecom Operations, Store Management, and other related domains. Demonstrable success in placing professionals in US-based companies is essential.
- US Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the US job market, including industry trends, regulations, and compensation structures.
- International Recruitment Experience: Experience in sourcing and placing candidates located outside of the US for US-based roles is a significant advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate offers and close deals.
- Results-Oriented: Highly motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
