JOB DESCRIPTION

Bulk Production

  • Ensure bulk placement falls on aligned LT & within capacities.
  • Responsible for bulk execution of approximately 15 million units annually for Red Tab Women & Dockers, with a focus on translating product developers' visions into profitable and durable products.
  • Coordinate bulk execution by liaising with mills, suppliers, support departments, trims suppliers, and product development teams.
  • Monitor on-ground operations to verify and report production statuses, proactively addressing bottlenecks to maintain schedules.
  • Collaborate with FE & PI teams on bulk issues and escalate with PD, GD, and others to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure on-time delivery by working with vendors and mills to track fabric and garment development, pre-production, and bulk production.
  • Assist Assistant Managers in creating specific reports to address production issues.
  • Manage and train suppliers in LS&Co. systems.

Production Planning

  • Update vendor capacities weekly and monthly for assigned brands and segments in LS&Co. systems, ensuring alignment with production plans.
  • Compare established capacities with plan placements to ensure accurate delivery dates.
  • Update lead-times for garments and fabric in LS&Co. templates, and compare vendor-provided production dates with planned timelines.
  • Minimize MOQ upcharges and liabilities through effective planning, negotiation, and cross-sourcing via vendor coordination.

Product Development

  • Collaborate with senior management and fabric, finishing, and quality teams to ensure fabric and garment quality meet LS&Co. standards.
  • Track development of prototypes, samples, and approval samples at the start of each season for bulk production readiness.
  • Initiate PERR meetings with vendors, finishing, and quality teams to highlight new developments at the start of each season.
  • Manage pre-production approvals, including approval samples for size sets, finishes, shade bands, and first-off production for new or modified products.
  • Provide necessary resources (manufacturing, construction, design documents) timely to ensure smooth approval processes.
