Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical LCR (Least Cost Routing) and Billing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing routing strategies, ensuring billing accuracy, and generating data-driven insights using the latest technologies. You will work cross-functionally with Routing, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to streamline telecom operations and drive profitability.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical LCR (Least Cost Routing) and Billing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing routing strategies, ensuring billing accuracy, and generating data-driven insights using the latest technologies. You will work cross-functionally with Routing, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to streamline telecom operations and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Least Cost Routing (LCR) & Analytics:

●Analyze large-scale Call Detail Records (CDRs) using SQL, Python (Pandas), and Excel to optimize voice termination and origination routes.

●Monitor and maintain LCR tables and cost models to ensure real-time routing efficiency and margin optimization.

●Perform profit & loss analysis on routing traffic, identifying low-margin routes and suggesting corrective actions.

●Collaborate with the Network and Routing team to implement dynamic LCR updates based on rate changes and quality metrics.

Billing Operations & Assurance:

●Lead end-to-end billing cycles including data collection, rate application, invoice generation, and discrepancy resolution.

●Conduct monthly pre-billing audits to validate usage, rates, discounts, and tax rules using automated checks.

●Develop and maintain billing automation scripts using SQL, Python, and Power Automate or similar tools.

●Ensure billing compliance and accuracy for MVNO, Calling Card, App-based, and Wholesale VoIP customers.

●Investigate gross margin deviations in coordination with the billing and finance teams and recommend actionable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

●Bachelor's degree in Finance, Telecom, Data Analytics, or a related field.

●3–5 years of experience in billing operations, telecom routing, or data analytics.

●Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and working knowledge of Python for data processing.

●Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) for creating dashboards and visualizations.

●Familiarity with VoIP technologies, CDRs, and telecom billing systems (e.g., PortaBilling, Oracle BRM).

●Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work on complex datasets and derive business insights.

●Understanding of least cost routing, telecom interconnect rates, and financial reconciliation processes.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

●Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure SQL).

●Knowledge of automation tools like Power Automate, Zapier, or Apache Airflow.

●Familiarity with APIs and integrating telecom systems.
