MEP Solutions is looking for a Costing and Proposal Engineer (Mechanical) having expertise in Mechanical in Lahore at Head Office.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in mechanical.

Experience: 5 to 8 years relevant experience.

Roles and Responsibility:

1.Technical Evaluation & Cost Analysis

  • Review project specifications, client requirements, and tender documents to understand the firefighting system scope.
  • Analyze predefined quantities and design inputs (provided by QS or design team) to determine system needs and costs.
  • Prepare and validate cost breakdowns based on inputs received — focusing on material rates, labor benchmarks, and installation factors.

2. Proposal Preparation (Excluding BOQ/Quantity Work)

  • Develop technical and commercial proposals for firefighting systems such as:
  • Wet & dry sprinkler systems
  • Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
  • FM-200, Novec, and other gas-based suppression systems
  • Foam-based fire protection
  • Ensure proposals include correct system descriptions, compliance data, and exclusions/inclusions.
  • Source and verify quotations for firefighting-related equipment and services (pumps, tanks, suppression systems, etc.).
