Location: Near Driving License Office, Korangi, Karachi

Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Salary: Rs 150,000 – Rs 250,000 per month

Summary:

Techmile Solutions is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions while steering the technical direction of projects. You will mentor junior developers, ensure adherence to engineering best practices, and champion software quality, scalability, and performance across all deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• System Architecture: Define and lead architectural decisions, selecting appropriate frameworks and tools while ensuring best practices and design patterns are upheld.

• Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver well-defined, high-quality features.

• Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, and adherence to standards.

• Technical Leadership: Set a strong example for development standards, continuous learning, and technology exploration.

• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex software bugs and performance issues efficiently.

• Testing & Debugging: Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure stability and reliability.

• Innovation & Improvement: Continuously research and introduce new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in professional software development

• Strong experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Spring, Django)

• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and industry-standard practices

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance optimization

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Strong command of version control systems (e.g., Git) & CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus

• Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
