You will be trained for a key role during our defence show, IMDEX Asia 2025.
- Coordinating business meeting schedules between VIP delegates and international exhibitors.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule successful business meetings. Liaise closely with government agencies, embassies/high commissions, and international companies.
- Explore various techniques to communicate effectively over the telephone, email, and face-to-face. Understand the process of engaging with foreigners to find out their preferences and requests to schedule meetings.
- Work on our online system to generate personalised meeting schedules between VIP delegates and exhibitors.
- Maintain an Excel database and keep up to date with the meeting arrangements scheduled. Analyze data for post-show reports.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma holder.
- Preferably with 1 year of experience in a related field; applicants with no experience may apply too.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel – skilled in data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong command of English – able to write and converse effectively and professionally.
- Comfortable interacting with people of diverse cultural backgrounds – adept at building rapport with foreign delegations and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized – capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks and managing communication with various individuals to schedule business meetings.
- Thrives under pressure – embraces challenges and demonstrates a strong work ethic, especially during peak periods leading up to events.
- Technologically savvy and quick to learn new systems – adaptable and eager to stay updated with the latest tools and technologies.
