About the Division:
Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited, the subsidiary company of Al-Futtaim group of Dubai, is a story of rollicking success. With consistent corporate achievements, the company is recognized for corporate excellence and "Best Corporate Performance".
With its Corporate office in Lahore, the AGTL plant at Dera Ghazi Khan, manufactures New Holland (Fiat) tractors in technical collaboration with CNHI - Case New Holland, the Number One manufacturer of agricultural tractors in the world. The AGTL plant, an icon of engineering dynamics operates on high efficiency. With Quality Control and Quality Assurance, quality improvement systems exist at every level. One of our mission statement reads: "Our most enduring competitive edge is the quality of tractors".
What you will do?
Overview of Roles:
Providing commercial and legal advice and support to Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited's Leadership team and reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal and commercial agreements and documents, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with and managing external legal counsel for specialized matters.
- Coordinating with OEM's legal departments as and when required to make any proposal at government level.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including MOUs, JV agreements, dealer/distributor agreements, procurement, real estate, and IT contracts.
- Handling corporate legal matters such as restructurings, compliance, and board/ shareholder meeting support.
- Ensuring protection of intellectual property rights.
- Managing diverse legal issues while balancing competing priorities.
- Supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
- To safeguard the legal interests of the company by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing contracts and litigation, supporting commercial operations, and advising management on legal risks and strategy.
Education:
The successful candidate must have appropriate legal qualifications gained in a common law country and experience of working as a qualified lawyer in Pakistan.
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- Total work experience of at least 10-15 years.
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, some of which should have been gained in-house with a reputable group in Pakistan.
- International experience, though not essential, would be an advantage.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels of the business.
