Overview

Inphoenix Private Limited is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the implementation and management of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information security controls across our organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in strengthening our cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding our digital and physical assets.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Annex A controls (organizational, people, physical, and technological).
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Configure, manage, and monitor security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and DLP.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
  • Manage access controls, identity management, and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Oversee logging, monitoring, and incident detection/response processes.
  • Support secure software development practices (secure coding, DevSecOps, application testing).
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and facilities for people and physical security controls.
  • Prepare for internal and external ISMS audits and maintain documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
  • Proven experience with ISO/IEC 27001 implementation or similar security frameworks (NIST, CIS).
  • Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, firewalls, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with encryption, key management, identity & access management (IAM).
  • Experience with SIEM solutions, log analysis, and incident response.
  • Security certifications preferred: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
