Lead Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

This critical leadership role is at the forefront of protecting our digital ecosystem. The Cybersecurity Operations function focuses on building and operating advanced detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities to secure our super app, services, and data from evolving threats.
The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and evolution of security operations and incident response systems. You'll be a hands-on expert designing threat detection strategies, developing incident response playbooks, and ensuring end-to-end monitoring across platforms.
You will:
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of security analysts and engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Champion the use of automation and orchestration to streamline incident response and reduce manual toil.
- Leverage machine learning and AI to elevate threat detection capabilities and predict sophisticated attacks.
- Develop proactive threat hunting strategies to seek out vulnerabilities and adversaries.
- Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Cyber Fusion Center.
This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in SIEM, EDR, network security, cloud security, and threat intelligence platforms, as well as genuine passion for automation and AI/ML applications. Experience with integrating engineering, IT, legal, and fraud teams is also essential.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing talent.
- Deep expertise in security technologies and tools.
- Genuine passion for automation and strong understanding of implementing it to create efficiencies.
- Experience or ideas on applying AI/ML to real-world security challenges.
