
Area Sales Manager

Job Requirements:
Education: Preferably MBA or at least a bachelor's degree.
Experience: 3-5 Years in FMCG sector.
Salary: Market Competitive.
- Maintaining and increasing sales of the company's products to increase primary & secondary sales.
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
- Servicing the needs of existing customers.
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
- Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole.
- Allocating areas to sales representatives.
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets.
- Compiling and analyzing sales figures.
- Collecting customer feedback and market research.
- Reporting to senior managers.
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
- Appointing distributors.
- Ensuring targeted outlet coverage, product availability and visibility.
- Ensuring that accounts receivables are collected on time and do not contribute to the build-up of overdue outstanding.
Other Requirements:
Applicant should have strong contacts in the market.
Applicant should possess strong follow-up and rapport building skills.
Should be competent to develop market and enhance product share.
Applicant must be a go-getter who can deliver the targets.
Good selling and negotiation skills.
