Job Location: Sazgar Car Assembly Plant, Sunder Road, Raiwind – Lahore.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Human Resource Officer will assist in carrying out the day-to-day functions of the HR Department, including recruitment, attendance and leave management, employee relations, maintaining and updating employee information in the HR database/HRMS, handling HR correspondence, and managing related physicalrecords.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in managing all functions of the HR department.

• Support recruitment activities including drafting job descriptions, screening applications, scheduling and conducting initial interviews, preparing hiring cases, completing related documentation, conducting orientation sessions for new hires, and updating employee records.

• Draft official correspondence such as letters, policies, memos, emails, and departmental formats.

• Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.

• Support in dealing matters related to Social Security and EOBI.

• Assist in compiling data for salary revisions.

• Provide assistance in resolution of disciplinary and grievance issues.

• Liaise with accounts and administration departments regarding salaries, expense claims, attendance, leave management, and other employee data updates.

• Accurate and timely updating of employee records in the HRMS/HR database.

• Adherence to rules & regulations of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned fromtimetotime.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar HR role.
  • Solid understanding of daily HR operations and core HR functions.
  • Proven experience in drafting official letters, memos, policies, emails, and other HR-related correspondence.
  • Familiarity with HRMS systems will be considered an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook/email, computer systems/laptops, internet research, and use of office equipment such as printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-orientedenvironment.
