Job Description
As a Business Development Executive at our software house, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and success. Your responsibilities include:
- New Business Acquisition:
- Identify potential clients and market segments; actively prospect for new opportunities via LinkedIn, AngelList, Apollo, Crunchbase, Upwork, and other platforms where projects worth $10k - $25k+ can be found.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
- Build a strong sales pipeline by qualifying leads, delivering sales presentations, and employing effective sales strategies.
- Close deals with targeted clients through cold calling, virtual presentations, etc.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with international clients, understanding their needs and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions to clients' business challenges.
- Maintain regular communication, ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and seek feedback.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Create clear documentation such as SRS, BRD, BPR, and user manuals, communicating project specifications and business processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized software solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and commercial aspects to secure profitable deals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in software sales or business development, preferably in a software house or tech environment.
- Experience with the US international market.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of software solutions, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking tools.
