We're hiring for Assistant Manager Freight Forwarding (Onsite - Karachi)

Our client was established as a family-owned custom clearance agency. From humble beginnings, it has since become a brand name in custom clearance and logistics services in Pakistan. Their hallmark is in providing solutions which emphasize economy with efficiency, speed and reliability. Serving a diverse portfolio of clients with a team of over 100 qualified and experienced staff, they pride ourselves in having in-depth expertise in customs law and procedure pertaining to international trade and transportation of goods through air, sea and land.

Job Description:

Knowledge of logistics industry (preferred).
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivating solid relationships with clients through the provision of exceptional after-sales service.
  2. Creating a positive onboarding experience for new clients.
  3. Regularly interacting with clients through telephone calls, email communications, or face-to-face meetings.
  4. Identifying ways to overcome clients' initial dislike of company products.
  5. Maintaining an accurate record of all existing and potential clients.
  6. Responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in custom clearing, logistics or related industries.

Skills:

Strong verbal communication skills.
