Position: Manager Strategic Sales & Services - Chinese Account
Location: Islamabad
Reporting to: Regional Business Head - Chinese Accounts
Job Type: Permanent
Job Purpose:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Account Handling & Relationship Management to ensure repeat business and long-term client retention
- Upselling & Cross-Selling existing clients to expand solution adoption and increase deal size.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand strong relationships with B2B, B2G and Chinese enterprise accounts to drive business growth.
- Achieve revenue targets across telecom services, ICT solutions, and enterprise solution offerings.
- Ensure 100% and timely recovery revenue from assigned accounts.
- Promote and execute solution selling in domains such as cloud, IoT, and cybersecurity.
- Develop and present customized proposals and solution bundles to match client requirements.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in government, state-owned enterprises, and Chinese corporates.
- Manage complete sales cycle including RFP/RFQ response, negotiations, contracting, and deal closure. Collaborate with Chinese vendors and ecosystem partners to co-develop solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial, and contractual obligations during engagements.
- Deliver accurate pipeline visibility, market intelligence, and sales forecasts to management. Act as a single point of contact for escalations, ensuring seamless resolution and customer satisfaction.
Job Specific Skills:
- Proven Key Account Management experience in Telecom, ICT, Banking, or FMCG sectors.
- Ability to compare telecom operator packages and demonstrate competitive advantages to customers.
- Expertise in portfolio management and revenue collection.
- Strong numerical ability for pricing, comparisons, and business case development.
- Ability to drive retention and new business in the government and corporate markets.
- Establish network and relationships with business groups and government offices. Experience in solution/box selling within telecom/ICT (cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, data center).

Education:
- Minimum Graduation degree, Master's will be preferred
Special Requirement:
- Experience delivering ICT solutions to government and private sector clients, with an understanding of procurement processes and sector-specific needs
- Knowledge of ICT solution selling and managing product offerings. Ability to assess client requirements and propose effective, value-driven ICT solutions aligned with business objectives.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably within the ICT industry or related technology sectors, demonstrating a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience managing complex sales cycles, engaging with both government and private sector clients, and effectively leveraging sales strategies such as upselling, cross-selling, and account management to drive revenue growth.
