Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads and developing and executing effective email marketing campaigns that engage our audience, nurture leads, and drive conversions. You will manage all aspects of email marketing, from strategy and segmentation to design, automation, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads
- Plan, create, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns that align with company goals and brand voice.
- Develop and maintain email marketing calendars to ensure timely campaign launches.
- Build and manage subscriber lists, ensuring proper segmentation for personalisation and performance.
- Design engaging email templates using best practices in layout, mobile responsiveness, and deliverability.
- Create compelling copy for subject lines, body content, and CTAs.
- Manage and optimise automated email workflows (e.g. welcome series, re-engagement, cart abandonment).
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) and report findings.
- Conduct A/B tests to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, design, sales, and product, to align messaging and timing.
Qualifications:
- Ability to generate leads (e.g. Instantly, Apollo, etc.)
- Experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Brevo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, UTM tracking).
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A/B testing experience and knowledge of segmentation and personalisation strategies.
