Responsibilities:- Activate revenue & cost of sale strategy for assigned territory in line with regional manager.
- Be the ambassador of the Oman Air brand externally to all trade, corporate & government bodies in assigned territory.
- Deliver revenue and cost of sales revenue budgets for territory assigned.
- Take lead and activate proposed methods of ancillary revenue campaigns for assigned territory.
- Retain/increase market share on revenue and cultural shift of distribution model, reducing any impact to revenue for Oman Air in territory.
- Implement the revenue/cost of sale roadmap as instructed by regional manager in line with market conditions for assigned territory.
- Deliver on assigned budget & cost of sale metrics for the assigned territory.
- Identify territory market opportunities working with marketing to create a suitable marketing plan in line with strategic objectives assigned by regional manager.
- Analyze and provide feedback on territory market situation and competitor practices.
- Drive Oman Air's NDC implementation strategy in territory across all channels.
- Promote and initiate offers for direct sales to navigate towards direct distribution strategy (Web/NDC/Call Center/Mobile).
- Support establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners within territory.
- Take lead in assigned territory concerning market communication to trade.
- Initiate changes to ancillary revenue opportunities to increase additional revenue streams for the territory.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate sales calls to travel agents' corporate houses and government institutions.
- Create a territory sales plan to achieve assigned budget responsibility led with direct distribution roadmap.
- Provide regular market feedback to regional sales manager concerning pricing, distribution, and practices to improve efficiency & performance.
- Assist in facilitating local authorities and corporate standards for trading purposes.
- Act as the deputy to Regional Sales Manager as required.
- Guide, coach, and mentor the sales team in achieving sales performance and foster growth and development (if applicable).
- Handle travel agency incentive program within territory and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor BSP in assigned territory working with the business to administer any action.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Travel & Tourism with 06 years of relevant work experience handling sales in the airline industry.
- OR Diploma in a related field with 08 years of relevant work experience handling sales in the airline industry.
- Driven, pragmatic with a tenacity to increase revenue.
- Commercial Acumen & Analytical skills.
- Negotiation and Decision-making Skills.
- Team player in a multicultural environment.
- Cost and value conscious. Know how to "do more with less".
- Proficiency in English (Reading & Writing), Arabic an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in IATA processes (preferred).
Excellent understanding of sales & commercials functions in the airline industry.
