Upwork Sales Specialist / BDM (Business Development Manager)

We are a growing digital design and development agency seeking a motivated Upwork Sales Executive for our in-house office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bidding on Upwork, communicating with clients, and securing new projects related to Web Design, WordPress Development, UI/UX Design, and other digital services.

This role offers a great opportunity for someone familiar with the Upwork platform who aims to build a long-term career in IT sales and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search and identify relevant jobs/projects on Upwork
  • Write and submit custom proposals with high conversion focus
  • Maintain strong communication with potential clients
  • Follow up on submitted proposals and close deals
  • Coordinate with the project manager/design team for timelines and scopes
  • Maintain records of leads, proposals, and conversions

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2+ years of experience in Upwork bidding or similar freelancing platforms
  • Excellent written English skills (proposal writing is essential)
  • Familiarity with Web Design, WordPress, or UI/UX services
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly targets
  • Strong attention to detail and responsiveness
