Microsoft Planner/Projects Data Transfer Assistant

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a Microsoft Planner/Projects Data Transfer Assistant to support the migration of data and workflows from ASANA to Microsoft Planner and Projects and List. This role involves ensuring a seamless transfer process, replicating the existing ASANA setup onto Microsoft Planner and Projects, and customizing Microsoft Planner and Projects for optimal team collaboration. The successful candidate will also provide training to team members and ongoing support to address system-related challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in transferring data and workflows from ASANA to Microsoft Planner and Projects and List (data entry and entry page set ups)
  • Recreate ASANA setups, including basic workflows, task flows, and dependencies, within Microsoft Planner and Projects and List.
  • Use data migration tools to streamline the transfer process and ensure accuracy.
  • Set up and customize basic data entry formats for team use.
  • Integrate Microsoft Planner, List and Projects with other Microsoft tools (e.g. Teams, Power Automate, notification setting).
  • Automate reminders , task assignments and status updates.
  • Outlook & To Do: Sync tasks for personal productivity.
  • Notifications: Configure alerts for due dates, changes and comments.
  • Conduct testing to ensure the new system functions as intended.
  • Provide training to team members on using Microsoft Planner and Projects and List.
  • Setting up requested admin controls for the purpose of quality control and appropriate usage.
  • Offer ongoing support resolve system issues.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Planner, Projects, List and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Familiarity with ASANA and experience in data migration processes form ASANA.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar data transfer or ICT support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data migration tools for efficient bulk transfers.
  • Experience in customizing project management tools to meet team needs.
