Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze functional problems and determine feasible techniques/requirements for expedited solutions.
  • Configure servers, perform backups, and ensure full system readiness.
  • Utilize network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds) to monitor, evaluate, and report on WAN/LAN health statistics.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks and connected devices.
  • Provide support for Windows systems administration, including multiple Windows OS variants, virtualization technologies, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Manage the diagnosis, operation, administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Remedy Trouble-Ticket system.
  • Update, maintain, and validate the known error database.
  • Administer Remedy Action Request System solutions.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain statistical, management, and custom reports.
  • Support information assurance by updating and maintaining content, classification, and protection of organizational websites, and managing access.
  • Install new software and hardware (servers, printers, workstations, etc.).
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Oversee system security, including internet security and antivirus installation.
  • Fix network faults and perform network maintenance.
  • Provide technical support for network users.
  • Train staff on new systems.
  • Monitor and administer network use daily.
  • Plan future improvements and suggest IT solutions for business problems.
  • Ensure all IT practices meet industry standards.
  • Supervise help desk staff.

Job Specification:

Minimum Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.

Team player.

Committed to continuous learning and updating knowledge.

Clear understanding of the employer's specific systems.
