Working hours: 5 days, 9am - 5:30pm
Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre
Responsibilities:
- Assist Local Customers and overseas freight forwarders by understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
- Communicate regularly with Local Customers and overseas agent offices to update them on shipment statuses and ensure seamless coordination.
- Source and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, and emails and schedule appointments for sales.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations for cross-trade and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, and maintain accurate customer accounts while providing excellent customer service.
- Follow up proactively on submitted quotations to achieve a high success rate and close deals effectively.
- Support the operations department to ensure successful delivery of services that meet or exceed agent expectations.
- Ensure all data are updated in system/spreadsheets and work closely with HQ Marketing Manager for further development and support business growth.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Management to contribute to organisational success.
- Good knowledge of both Freight operations and sales processes
- Min 4 years of experience in the freight forwarding (Air & Ocean) industry within commercial areas, preferably with ocean exposure in a regional role
