Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support helpline calls and emails.
  2. Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  3. Plan future improvements, suggesting IT solutions to business problems.
  4. Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
  5. Perform comprehensive root cause analysis and advise how to avoid such incidents in the future.
  6. Record incident resolution in system and communicate to all stakeholders.
  7. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues.
  8. Theoretical understanding of Client / Server Operating Systems, Networking and IP Telephony.
  9. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.

Skills:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Flexible approach to work and problem solving.
  3. Excellent telephone mannerisms.
  4. The ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
  5. The ability to work proactively with little direct supervision.
  6. A commitment to continual professional development.
  7. A Team player in shifting 24/7.
