- Leads and manages the maximization of sales growth in their departments.
- Takes opportunities to identify and grow new business opportunities and prospects.
- Supports an environment of risk taking and innovation to drive sales.
- Actively engages in the business planning process to achieve business results and coaches managers to do so as well.
- Sets strategies, sales goals, and targets for their departments and communicates to associates. Ensures team understands the connection between store financial success and bonus programs.
- Responsible for the scorecard results in their departments.
- Leverages and develops the sales capabilities of associates by setting the foundation for the use and implementation of selling techniques and company programs.
- Leads, promotes, and coaches selling; cultivates an inspired selling culture with associates.
- Models, promotes, and holds others accountable for customer service excellence.
- Takes ownership of the customer service resolution process in their departments.
- Maintain monthly sales forecast and pipeline.
- Increase awareness and interest in Vision solutions within assigned territories or accounts.
- Maintain high knowledge of Vision products, roadmaps, competition, pricing, market share, and key differentiators.
- Establish relationships with strategic accounts and manage existing key accounts.
- Create and execute detailed sales plans to achieve revenue objectives.
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to handle complex problems/projects, exercise independent judgment, focus on goals, deep technical and ROI/TCO knowledge, willingness to travel 25-50%, operate independently, self-motivated, competitive, goal-oriented, high energy, strong presentation and negotiation skills, organized, effective team player, good at qualifying sales opportunities and managing time.
- Preferred Background: Prior security product experience (CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire safety), good communication skills, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, minimum graduation, 5-7 years outside sales experience in an industrial environment, a proven track record of exceeding quotas in technology sales, vertical industry knowledge.
