Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager Education Counsellor (Study Aboard) to lead our student consultancy operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of international education systems, sales strategies, and student visa procedures. This role involves managing end-to-end student journeys — from initial consultation and course selection to admissions and visa application — while achieving business targets and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultancy & Advisory
    • Provide expert guidance to students on study destinations, courses, universities, and career prospects.
    • Conduct detailed profile assessments to ensure accurate course and university recommendations.
    • Stay updated with changes in international education systems and visa requirements.
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Achieve student recruitment targets through effective sales strategies and lead conversion.
    • Build partnerships with educational institutions, agents, and other stakeholders.
    • Plan and execute promotional activities like seminars, webinars, and education fairs.
  • Visa & Application Processing
    • Oversee student application processes including documentation, SOP review, and interview preparation.
    • Guide students on visa application processes for countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.
    • Ensure high visa success rates by maintaining accuracy and compliance with immigration policies.
  • Team Leadership & Operations
    • Manage and train a team of counsellors and support staff.
    • Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and ensure efficient workflow.
    • Handle escalations and ensure a seamless experience for all clients.
    Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Education, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in study abroad consultancy, international admissions, or visa counselling.
  • Strong knowledge of visa regulations and admission processes for major study destinations.
  • Proven experience in sales and lead conversion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role in the education consultancy industry.
