We're Hiring: Student Counsellor (UK) – Gohata Global | Lahore

We're Hiring:

Gohata Global, one of Pakistan's fastest-growing education consultancy firms, is looking to onboard a Student Counsellor with a UK specialization. If you're someone who knows the study-abroad ecosystem, can build instant rapport with students, and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy team — this role is for you.

Salary: Market Competitive + Performance Based Incentives

Experience: 6 - 12 months in student counselling – Freshers may also apply

What You'll Do:

  • Guide students through course selection, university applications, and UK visa processes
  • Understand each student's goals and recommend the best-fit UK universities and programs
  • Manage leads and ensure timely follow-ups to convert interest into confirmed applications
  • Liaise with university partners and ensure up-to-date knowledge on application requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM and ensure a smooth journey from enquiry to enrollment
  • Represent Gohata at student sessions, university events, and marketing campaigns

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you should be confident, articulate, and persuasive
  • Prior experience in UK student counselling or international education is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and hit deadlines without micro-management
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and a general comfort with tech
  • A people-first attitude — we want someone who genuinely wants to help students grow
