IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Lead and oversee the strategic planning, design, and deployment of cutting-edge data center infrastructures. This role ensures that data centers are designed and implemented to meet current and future operational requirements, adhering to the highest standards of efficiency, scalability, and security. The executive will be responsible for aligning design and deployment processes with the company's overall technological goals and business objectives while optimizing operational costs and performance.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of new data centers, ensuring that the design aligns with organizational objectives, performance requirements, and best practices.
  • Define technical specifications for the data center, including power, cooling, network, storage, security, and redundancy. Select appropriate technologies, equipment, and systems to meet current and future needs, emphasizing scalability, energy efficiency, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with IT, network, security, and facilities teams to ensure the design integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Oversee the deployment process, ensuring the project adheres to agreed schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors/vendors for the construction, installation, and commissioning of data center systems. Ensure all data center installations and systems are tested, optimized, and meet performance and security requirements. Monitor progress through regular updates, milestones, and check-ins with all involved stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers of data center hardware, software, and services. Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet agreed-upon timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Oversee the procurement process for critical equipment, ensuring the right components are selected and delivered on time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • Graduation in Electrical Engineering, MS (Computer Science)
  • Certifications: PMP, CDCS, CTDC

Competencies:

  • Data Center Infrastructure Management: In-depth knowledge of managing Data Centre, including Designing, Implementation and Operations.
  • Incident Response and Recovery: Proficiency in developing and executing incident response plans, disaster recovery.
  • Infrastructure Management: Expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Data Center infrastructure components to ensure seamless operations.
