PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for achieving assigned revenue / profitability targets

• Develop sales opportunities in existing and new customer accounts

• Promote cross selling in existing accounts and convert them into strategic accounts

• Develop and implement winning strategy for each account

• Provide relevant business solutions (mainly in HP / Cisco / Microsoft products) for customers based on identified needs and ensure technical support is delivered as needed

• Responsible for developing and increasing revenues through existing and new customers.

• Identify competitor accounts and win them over

• Ensure profitability targets are met in the assigned territory/accounts, and A/R collections against existing sales are received on a timely basis

• Optimize existing and develop new customer relationships for sustainable business growth and profitability and enhance awareness of company's product range and services

• Ensure products are delivered to the customer on a timely basis and technical support is provided as required

• Play a pivotal role in providing market/competitor information for business/strategic planning for achieving short-term and long-term business objectives

• Monitor all necessary sales documentation recorded in CRM and other organizational reports/systems required by supervisor

• Keep abreast with product knowledge, customer profiles, and competitor activities through participation in relevant forums

Job Specification

Education:
Bachelors/Master degree in Commerce/Business Management/MCS. HP/Cisco Sales certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience:
6 - 8 years or above sales experience with a reputable company, IT industry exposure preferred. Ability to deal with institutional customers, knowledge of professional selling skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, and closing techniques. Managing objectives, proposal writing, and capable of achieving sales targets consistently.

Important Personal Attributes:
Excellent result orientation, initiative, pleasant personality with drive and business focus. Proactive individual with an eye for business opportunities in his territory. Problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
