Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Specialist to independently develop and implement our HR framework, including job grading structures, compensation and benefits programs, and HR policies. This role offers a unique opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up and work closely with senior leadership, requiring minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive job grading and leveling structure aligned with company objectives
- Develop competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs based on market research
- Create, update, and enforce clear HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Define detailed role profiles, competencies, and career paths across the organization
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes when required
- Prepare for and eventually oversee the transition of payroll management from Accounts to HR
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Act as a trusted HR advisor and partner to leadership and employees, driving HR initiatives with autonomy
Candidate Profile
- 4 to 8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or related industries
- Proven expertise in compensation & benefits design and job evaluation methods
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani labor laws and HR best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex HR projects end-to-end
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience or familiarity with payroll administration is desirable but not mandatory
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of influencing organizational change
