Wali Systems (Pvt) Limited is looking to hire an experienced IT project manager for its Lahore office. Wali Systems is a multinational software development company headquartered in Maryland, USA. We are looking for a talented IT project manager who has a pure IT background (degree in computer science from a reputable institution).

We believe no one can be an expert of everything; therefore, we are looking for someone who has excellent project management skills but has done a bit of everything over the course of their career. We believe an IT project manager without IT skills cannot contribute much to the success of software projects.

As a project manager, s/he will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the scope, cost, and staff.
  2. Solidifying the technical approach to develop and implement.
  3. Communicating with the clients in the US.
  4. Incorporating quality control to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  5. Developing concrete and actionable plans, presenting ideas/solutions to clients, and reporting to clients and employer.

Experience

  1. Experience with system analysis, design, documentation, and testing.
  2. Experience of leading a team.
  3. Experience of successfully managing software projects.

We need someone who has the following qualities:

  1. Excellent communication and English speaking and writing skills.
  2. Can wear multiple hats when needed.
  3. Experience of leading a team of developers.
  4. A team player who can gel with other members of the team or with other teams.
  5. Interested in mentoring junior team members.
  6. Has built enterprise-level software applications.
  7. Understands what project management is and can use the latest project management tools and technologies.
  8. Can follow processes and methodologies.
  9. Experience in using popular tools, technologies, and frameworks like PHP, WordPress, etc.
  10. Can take responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision.
