We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager EHS. If you possess a passion for it, we'd like to talk to you.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify best practices and lead continual improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
  2. Maintain the management systems certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018).
  3. Ensure site compliance according to environmental protection agency regulations.
  4. Develop, maintain, and report leading and lagging indicators for site HSE performance.
  5. Conduct or assist with hazard identification and risk assessment of plant processes.
  6. Perform safety audits, inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and lead cultural change in the factory to embed safe working behaviors.
  7. Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes and suggest corrective and preventive actions.
  8. Conduct emergency drills and carry out gap analysis for continual improvement.
  9. Ensure site compliance with company policies and government regulations to provide a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environment, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Internationally recognized certifications.

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS production and projects with internationally recognized certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and familiarity with national and international EHS regulations such as OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEQS.
  • Ability to implement and maintain compliance programs.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis, including conducting HAZOP, JSA, FMEA, and safety audits.
  • Ability to identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Skilled in incident investigation and root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Taproot.
