Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong passion for identifying new business opportunities, managing client outreach, and generating leads on platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn, Fiverr, and other freelancing marketplaces. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate business opportunities on Upwork, Linkedin, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms, focusing on IT, digital services, and web development projects.
- Write and submit personalized, compelling proposals on Upwork and Fiverr to secure high-value projects.
- Optimize and manage company profiles on Upwork, Linkedin, Fiverr, and other relevant platforms to enhance visibility and attract potential clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through targeted outreach and engagement on LinkedIn and freelancing marketplaces.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, analyze competitors, and refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (designers, developers, and marketers) to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Implement effective business development strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Track and analyze business development activities, conversion rates, and performance metrics to optimize lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, preferably in IT and digital services
- Proven experience in lead generation and securing projects on Upwork, LinkedIn, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms.
- Strong proposal writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive, customized bids.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach tools, content strategy, and Fiverr gig optimization is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and adapt to market trends.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry developments
