1. Responsible for product quality, production, and efficiencies (M/c efficiency, wastage, etc.) of the Injection Unit.
2. To analyze the process monitoring sheets, job setting sheets, and efficiency data for recommendations for achieving product quality and better efficiencies. Implementation of these changes through Section/Shift Managers.
3. To monitor the production plan against actual and to analyze and assign the causes for variation or shortfalls.
4. To analyze the wastage report, assign the causes, prepare a wastage reduction plan, and implement it through Shift Supervisor.
5. To coordinate on quality complaints of raw materials, semi-finished items, and packing materials with suppliers in consultation with the Maintenance Manager, QAD, and stores department.
6. To check the availability of materials (raw & semi-finished) as per plan and coordinate with stores and Plant Managers for actions on shortfalls.
7. To coordinate with the maintenance department for persistent problems in machines and accessories affecting wastage.

Job Specification

Experience in Injection Molding Units will be a plus point.
