Job Overview:

We seek a dynamic Head of General Maintenance, Building & Projects to lead operations, infrastructure, and cost-effective solutions. Requires expertise in facility management, budgeting, and sustainability.

Strategic Leadership & Budgeting

  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and cost-control strategies for general maintenance and building projects.
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance efficiency while maintaining budgetary discipline.
  • Lead capital investment planning for infrastructure improvements and upgrades.

Facility & Utilities Management

  • Oversee the operation and distribution of utilities (steam, chilled water, natural gas, electricity, industrial water & sewerage system) to ensure efficiency and sustainability of factory operations.
  • Lead Energy Management Programs to achieve cost savings and sustainability targets.
  • Ensure the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of all Govt. & Engineering applicable laws.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and timely completion of large-scale maintenance and infrastructure projects within budget.
  • Oversee in-house commissioning and retro-commissioning of new and existing equipment.
  • Manage contracts for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and insulation services.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Lead a high-performing team, including Energy Managers, Powerhouse, Engineers, Foremen and Technicians.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and environmental safety standards.
  • Develop preventive & corrective maintenance programs to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align projects with business goals.
  • Provide executive reports on operational performance, cost efficiency, and project status.
