We are looking for an experienced Linux Server Administrator with profound knowledge of Linux and Windows servers. You must have extensive experience in technical support and be strong in English communication.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for Linux server administration and technical support operations, including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  2. Responsible for customer support.
  3. Maintain web hosting services and Linux servers to support business operations and end users. Experience in the web hosting industry and data center is a big plus.

Please note: Candidates from Lahore or neighboring cities are preferred.

Job Specification

Should be a problem solver with analytical thinking abilities.
Candidates with knowledge of Hosting Control Panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc. are preferred.
Experienced Linux Server Admin.
Knowledge of WHMCS and other ticket management systems.
Experience on Linux shell; experience with shell scripting is a plus.
Knowledge of web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, email, web servers, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients (Outlook/Thunderbird).
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V).
Capable of managing customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshooting reported issues independently.
Experience with computer operating systems; Linux knowledge is mandatory.
Able to maintain databases and server backups.
Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in Linux server administration.
Experience in the web hosting industry and Linux certification is a plus.
Strong English communication is compulsory.
Strong team player; should be able to work in a team environment.
Reporting to Team Lead/Manager.
