Job Title: Linux Server Specialist

Overview: We seek a highly skilled Linux server specialist with expertise in managing complex server environments to drive technical support operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Server Operations: Implement, configure, troubleshoot, secure, and monitor Linux servers for peak performance.
  2. Customer Engagement: Deliver timely assistance to customers through various channels.
  3. Service Delivery: Maintain and optimize web hosting services and Linux servers to meet business needs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are vital.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Hosting Control Panels (cPanel, WHM, Plesk), WHMCS, ticket management systems, Linux shell, shell scripting, web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, email, web servers, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients, virtualization technologies (Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Linux server administration, with a plus for web hosting industry experience and Linux certification.
  • Communication: Strong English communication skills are mandatory.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
