We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to provide top-notch customer support worldwide for Linux server administration and operations.

Job Overview
  • Manage complex support systems, live chat, phone calls, and tickets/emails to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Provide in-depth Linux server administration and technical support services including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  • Administer and maintain web hosting services and servers to support business operations and end users with high uptime and performance.
  • Implement robust server hardening, scanning, and removal of malware and viruses; perform website analysis, performance, security, and monitoring to ensure optimal results.
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of hosting control panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc. is essential for this role.
  • Sound understanding of Linux servers and WHMCS, as well as other ticket management systems is required.
  • Proficient in working with the Linux command line interface and proficient in shell scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/bind, email, web servers, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, and email clients is necessary.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Xen, XenServer, VMware, and Hyper-V is a plus.
  • Capable of managing customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshooting reported issues efficiently.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in the web hosting industry and Linux server administration is required.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.

This role involves maintaining databases, server backups, and providing excellent results and services for assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include following up on customer issues via Helpdesk and providing timely support to meet customer expectations.
