E2E Test Architect

We are looking for a visionary E2E Test Architect - Telco to lead and transform our quality assurance practices across telecommunications software initiatives. This role requires a senior leader with deep technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to elevate quality standards, accelerate delivery, and drive innovation at scale. You will own the end-to-end quality strategy, aligning it with business goals and evolving technology trends in the dynamic telco industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and champion the long-term SQA vision and strategy that supports the company's business objectives and market differentiation in telecommunications.
• Lead enterprise-wide quality initiatives spanning software development, network operations, and service delivery to embed quality as a competitive advantage.
• Thoroughly understand the scope of software releases and collaborate closely with product and architecture teams.
• Analyze and review end-to-end (E2E) architecture and solution designs to ensure testability, robustness, and alignment with quality goals.
• Critically evaluate proposed solutions, including UI/UX aspects, ensuring they meet functional and usability standards within the E2E solution context.
• Lead the identification, documentation, and validation of user journeys and business scenarios that need to be tested, mapping these precisely to the E2E solution.
• Differentiate between testable and non-testable requirements, ensuring clear, actionable test coverage.
• Oversee the analysis and preparation of UAT test scenarios aligned with business needs and release objectives.
• Evaluate and define test environment requirements, particularly from Oracle systems and their surrounding ecosystem perspectives.
• Drive alignment and coordination for testing surrounding systems ensuring seamless integration and coverage.
• Analyze and determine test data and setup requirements for Oracle and associated systems to support comprehensive test execution.
• Verify coverage of negative use cases and sub-scenarios to ensure robustness and error handling.
• Review, challenge, and continuously improve testing strategies, execution plans, and results to ensure effectiveness and quality delivery.
• Drive architectural design and continuous evolution of scalable, automated testing frameworks aligned with complex telco ecosystems (including OSS/BSS, 5G, cloud-native platforms).
• Collaborate with senior leaders (Product, Engineering, Network, Operations) to embed quality thinking early in the product lifecycle and across Agile and DevOps teams.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of SQA engineers, architects, and test leads, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
• Evaluate and introduce advanced QA technologies, AI/ML-driven testing tools, and analytics to increase test coverage, defect detection, and operational efficiency.
• Establish and track key quality metrics and KPIs to provide actionable insights for business and technical leadership.
• Advocate for continuous improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance in quality processes and product releases.
• Represent the QA function in executive discussions, providing strategic input on risk, quality, and customer experience.
• Build partnerships with external vendors, industry bodies, and standards organizations to keep the company at the forefront of telco quality innovation.
• Influence and contribute to company-wide digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives from a quality assurance perspective.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 13+ years in software quality assurance with progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years in architect or strategic leadership roles.
• Proven track record of defining and executing quality strategies in complex telecommunications environments.
• Deep expertise in telco technologies and systems: OSS/BSS, 5G/LTE, network protocols, virtualization, cloud-native architectures.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary QA teams.
• Expertise in automation strategy, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/DevOps quality integration.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels, including executive.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to balance technical and commercial priorities.
• Experience in vendor management, external partnerships, and industry standards alignment.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in telecom and QA, including AI/ML for testing, security, and performance engineering.
