Following are the major Duties and Responsibilities of Area Sales Manager but not limited to:

  • Responsible for appointing and managing Dealers/Distributors/Shopkeepers.
  • Responsible for making sales forecasts (Weekly, Monthly, and Annually) and setting sales targets based on their areas.
  • Identify potential areas and support the sales team in opening/appointing Dealers/Distributors/Shopkeepers in their areas.
  • Educate the sales team regarding company products, best practices, distributor relationships, promotional schemes, etc.
  • Responsible for timely recovery and achieving targets.
  • Responsible for checking and verifying customer claims.
  • Ensure on-time delivery to customers with zero complaints regarding delivery and quality.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and prepare action plans to outperform them.
  • Take over responsibilities of junior/senior staff during their absence.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
