The Pre-Sales engineer should support the sales growth of GoodWe by developing strong relationships with the technical stakeholders in GoodWe's distributor, installer, and EPC network in Pakistan and ensuring their trust in GoodWe's solutions and products. Hold customer trainings face-to-face and online, create and manage local technical documentation, establish a knowledge database, and represent GoodWe in exhibitions. Provide timely information or feedback for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform face-to-face workshops and trainings to partners and customers;
  2. Perform online webinars and trainings for partners and customers;
  3. Support the sales teams with project specifications;
  4. Support the sales teams with customer visits on strategic negotiations;
  5. Perform project simulations and design for customers;
  6. Create and design portfolio presentations;
  7. Create and design product and features presentations;
  8. Create SOP documents about product and features;
  9. Create SOP videos about product and features;
  10. Handle and participate in exhibitions and PV trade shows;
  11. Perform lectures and face-to-face presentations on PV Forums and events;
  12. Provide training to the internal Pakistani staff (after sales engineers, sales teams, etc);
  13. Train and certify the partners' technical staff according to the channel policy;
  14. Work closely with HQ teams to understand and transmit the correct features and specifications from our portfolio to the local staff, partners, and customers;
  15. Work actively with the marketing team to establish a promotion network with 3rd party partners (training companies, digital influencers, and distributors);
  16. Support the marketing team with content creation and promotions;
  17. Collect market product demands from the Pakistan market;
  18. Analyze market demands and propose new products and features;
  19. Collect and sort out product information, solution information, and main customer information from competitors;
  20. Analyze and provide feedback about standards requirements from local regulations.

Required Skills

  1. Advanced English;
  2. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Photovoltaics, Renewable Energy or other comparable degree;
  3. Advanced knowledge of PV Inverters;
  4. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and PVSyst;
  5. Excellent command in MS Office and other PV software;
  6. Strongly networked in the renewable energy, mainly in the Solar PV industry;
  7. General knowledge of graphic design, video editing skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw);
  8. Strong teaching and communication skills.
