Job Summary

The Manager FP&A is responsible for performing a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department, under general direction. Also analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents and makes adjustments.

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for provisions, reserves, and consumption to ensure they reflect the appropriate accounting period.
  • Thoroughly review customer orders to maximize recovery and reduce delinquent receivables.
  • Report timely to the area finance team on sales forecasts, H.56, H.37, SGNA, and variance commentary.
  • Report timely to local finance and commercial teams on sales pivot, statutory sales tax, DSO, variances, customer hold release status.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the contractual workforce and partner with service providers for payroll processing, recoveries, expense claims, and other expenses.

Education/Knowledge & Experience

  • Preferably MBA in Finance & Accounting or CA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.
  • Ability to execute highly complex or specialized work.
  • Knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in the area.
  • Works independently, applies standards, and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems.
